It is a minimum $25 per person donation to attend. ALL of the money goes directly to the artist. We absorb all costs associated with presenting the concert. The concert is by invitation only, per FAI house concert rules. You may bring guests, but I need to know to expect them ahead of time. To make a reservation, please reply to this email. Unless you have already told me you are attending, which a few of you have. If you have to cancel for some reason, please let me know so we can fill your space with another guest.
There is limited parking in our circular driveway and near the house. Please save some of these spaces for folks that have limited mobility. If you are able-bodied, please park on our street and walk down the hill of the driveway. Please be considerate of our neighbors and their driveways when choosing your parking place. We do have a gate and the code for the evening will be posted on the keypad for entry. The deer are so plentiful in our neighborhood that we can not leave it open and risk losing our landscaping to them. Do NOT park on any grassy or flowered areas within our gated yard.
There will be a potluck dinner to share starting at 6pm. Bring a dish and have it ready to serve. We will have plates, utensils, napkins, glasses and such, as well as ice and water. You may BYOB, but please keep consumption reasonable. This is a listening room and we will all be quiet for the performances. Music will start at 7pm and last until 9pm or so. No need to bring chairs, we will have plenty. If the weather is cooperative, we have a large deck to have dinner on and enjoy the outdoors.
We have dogs and a parrot. If you have animal allergies, be forewarned. The pets will not be present at the concert. This is a non-smoking home. No smoking anywhere on the premises, please. No children under the age of 16.
